PNZ Safety Qualifications

Pistol New Zealand offers club safety qualifications for all members.

These qualifications range from officiating at your club range to more advanced qualifications for each specific discipline.

PNZ Club Qualifications Structure

Basic Club Qualifications (new member up to 6 months)

PNZ Club Safety and Range Officer Test (See the Club Range Officer Tests Tab)

Basic down the line static target shooting range Officer Qualification and Safety Test. This test is a requirement for all members who wish to obtain their B Cat endorsement

Junior Proficiency Badge (Junior Members 12th to 16th Birthday)

Requirement for all junior shooters wishing to obtain their holster qualification.

 

Club Experienced Member Qualifications (6 months plus recommended)

Club Range Officer Qualification (See the Club Range Officer Tests tab)

Discipline specific Range Officer tests designed around knowledge of a diciplines rules and officating experience on a range.

PNZ Holster Qualification (Click on this link to go to the Holster Qualification Page)

Requirement to draw from the holster in any match.

National Qualifications (Experienced shooters only)

International Qualifications (Experienced shooters only)

IPSC International Range Officer (IROA)

Action NRA Range Officer or Referee

ISSF Judges A and B Licence
